Alice Cazenave is a photographer based in London who practises in analogue and camera-less techniques. Through merging existing alternative processes, Alice works to develop new divergent practices in photography. Alice holds a BSc in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bristol where she studied cancer biology, genetics and biochemistry. Her laboratory experience has informed her photographic practice, where through the manipulation of natural photo-synthetic properties, Alice uses organic materials to create photographs. Her photography is art inspired by a romantic view of nature, and is something to be made not taken; to be looked at, and not looked through.
