I’m interested in opening a rupture in everyday life by creating a liminal space where the familiarity is possessed and haunted. My work is usually imbued with memory and the form of the human and non-human. Lived my childhood in a Chinese boarding school and later moved to the UK at the age of 15, Being neither an insider or outsider, I find my practice repeatedly returning to the private memory, revealing the lost, overlooked hidden narratives, intertwining with fables and magic.
