My work explores the relationship between art, dance, and neuroscience. I have transitioned from more traditional methods of making such as painting to more contemporary routes such as performance art and projection. I explore the relation between the human body and contemporary art using principles of neuroscience. All of the works’ conception begins and ends with a scientific principle backed up with data, which makes neuroscience the driving force behind the art. From there I am able to play with forms of making to best express the concept, from painting, to dance. My goal is not to depict the principle literally, allude to it, and convey the concept in the most immersive way possible.
